General Features

The location of the Gran Melia Palacio de Isora is enviable, because it is distanced from the tourist masses to give space and exclusivity to the clientele in a classic, superior, comfortable environment. On top of that, it enjoys an average temperature of 21°C almost all year round thanks to the never-ending sunshine.

The hotel was designed by the architect Álvaro Sans in a neoclassical style and opened in 2008.

No sooner did we enter than we understood that it is a very high quality hotel, not only because it is grand and beautiful, but because the bellboys were waiting for us and knew who we were. First big point for the Palacio de Isora J

Tenerife Travel Secrets

All the staff at Gran Melia Palacio de Isora greets you with their hand on their heart, which is the characteristic greeting of the company. The truth is that, although it is a practised gesture, it’s a very welcoming feeling when they conscientiously greet you and look you in the eyes J

The hotel is proud to be certified as a ‘Biosphere Hotel’ by the Institute of Sustainable Tourism, as well as having been chosen as the best resort in Spain by the Condé Nast Traveller magazine in 2012 and 2014.

The surprising thing is that the hotel was at maximum capacity and it didn’t feel like it, which is an advantage of being in such a spacious and beautiful palace.
